Frequently
asked questions

You can request an appointment through the booking form published on the main page. Based on the form submissions, I usually offer dates within the next 3 months.

If the booking form is closed, it means capacity for the upcoming months has been filled and I'm unable to schedule appointments further out. A new form for the next period will be published at the end of the current open window, and I'll announce it in advance. The release date will be specified here and on my Instagram.

The minimum tattoo price is 4,000 CZK, and tattoos around 30 cm typically range between 10,000–15,000 CZK. The hourly rate for larger projects is approximately 3,000 CZK.

Pricing is always individual and depends on final size, complexity, and placement. I can estimate the price from your description — feel free to ask without obligation before booking. We always discuss your budget and our options for choosing florals and other elements.

The tattoo price always includes:
• 3,000 CZK deposit requested after confirming the date
• design work and the original artwork
• aftercare for perfect healing
• possible corrections or detail touch-ups (within 6 months of our first session)

I always require a 3,000 CZK deposit immediately after the date is confirmed. The deposit is deducted from the total tattoo price.

If you cancel the appointment more than 3 days before the session, we'll either fully cancel and refund the deposit, or transfer it to a new date.

Otherwise (cancellation 2 or 1 day before the session), the deposit is forfeited and we can either agree on a new deposit of 2,000 CZK, or fully cancel the session — in which case I reserve the right to offer the design to someone else. I trust you respect my time and understand the deposit is simply insurance that your slot could belong to someone else on the waiting list.

I only tattoo my own designs. I draw them based on your detailed description from the booking form. I send the design for approval no later than 2 days before the appointment, leaving us time for adjustments.

The more detailed your description, the easier it is for me to capture your vision and draw a motif that suits you. If you know my work and feel my style is right for you — there's no need to worry you won't like the result. If we don't quite click on the first try, no problem; we'll try again with more information and detail.

Designs are always sent as a sketch — not heavily detailed or shaded. The reason: during the session we discuss many factors that influence the final outcome (your skin type, surrounding tattoos, placement…). Based on this we decide whether to make the tattoo more contrasted, soft, airy, or richly detailed and shaded. You'll help me adapt the design to your body and vision.

All products in my studio — including inks, stencil solutions, and butters — are vegan and not tested on animals. Most of the disposables used in the studio are now also eco-friendly and biodegradable, minimizing plastic waste. We use top-quality materials and the latest tools on the market for maximum quality and gentle work. All of this is included in the price.

Vegan inks are "cleaner" and more strictly regulated by modern standards — they contain no animal-derived ingredients, weren't tested on animals, and reflect our commitment to modern standards and 21st century ethics. The same applies to all cosmetics used in the studio and the aftercare you take home.

I tattoo only women aged 18+.

I don't tattoo anyone with serious health conditions (e.g. heart problems, epilepsy, diabetes, hemophilia, skin diseases…).

I don't tattoo pregnant or breastfeeding clients. If you've been on medication recently, I need to know. We discuss everything else over email when choosing a date.

If you're not feeling well before the session, please don't come. You'd unnecessarily endanger my health, the studio's, and the healing of the tattoo itself.

After our session, your tattoo will be sealed and protected for 3–5 days with a special second skin film designed for tattoo healing. The film protects the tattoo and creates a barrier — it keeps moisture in the wound so the skin heals faster and more evenly. It's breathable but waterproof, and reduces irritation and pain.

You'll also receive home aftercare: a cleansing gel (antibacterial wash) and a skin recovery cream for nourishing the tattoo — no need to prepare or buy any special cosmetics on your end.

The natural healing process takes 7–28 days. Even though the tattoo looks "healed" after removing the film (after 5 days), the protective skin layer fully recovers only after 3–4 weeks.

After tattooing I recommend:
• avoiding sports for 7–14 days
• avoiding direct sun, tanning beds, sauna, and swimming for 3–4 weeks

POÈNE is located in the historic center, right next to the town hall. Through the archway (next to the ICON store), you'll reach the inner courtyard and walk toward the garden, where our studio is the last non-residential space of the building.

All guest spot dates abroad are listed on the main page, where you'll also find a waiting list form for non-binding date inquiries or to register on the waiting list directly.

I currently visit studios in Hamburg and London, but I have invitations to many more beautiful cities in Europe and the US. I'd love to start traveling regularly in 2027 — for now it's harder due to my little daughter. I'll always announce everything in advance on my Instagram.
